Kind of a useless gimmick. Unless it can also adjust heating levels automatically you'll still have to use the buttons to do that yourself. And protection seems to have taken a back seat.

Not used them myself as I use Keiss, but Ixon have gloves that do that. I saw them a couple of years ago at Sportsbike Shop.
Ah that looks cool! I knew about bluetooth connected gloves where you can change heating levels on both gloves by pressing a button on one of them, but I didn't know that there were already fully automatic heated gloves.
I'm also using Keis, very happy with my G601s.

I’m just guessing but I’d imagine if you take them off then put them back on , they hopefully remember the setting you had .
For people who deliver stuff on bikes and forever putting gloves on and off , this could be very handy (😜) rather than a useless gimmick

My wife and I both share the same frustration with the Keis gloves, and that is the independent controls on the back of the hand. It makes it quite awkward to adjust the left hand when you’re riding. I press it against the end of the handlebar, so I don’t have to take my right hand off the throttle. I much preferred how my old Gerbing gloves did it, where the heat output was adjusted by the remote controller, however, they were not the best gloves in the world.

I saw that Keis now do heated socks, but I’ve no idea how the hell you’re meant to adjust them when there’s a separate control on each leg.

I find that, certainly with the gloves, I’m constantly adjusting the temperature as I go from residential speeds to much faster speeds. I need to increase the heating output to compensate for the wind chill. Maybe it’s not quite as drastic of a change for socks.

Well yes, it might remember the previous setting, but like @daesimps I frequently change heating levels during a ride, so in that case you'll still need to use the buttons a lot.
Might indeed be great for delivery couriers though.

I make due similarly, by tapping my left hand at the under side of the handlebar. Before I got the Keis I also had Gerbing gloves, of the newer generation (post 2020 I think). That newer generation also has independent controls on the back of the hands. However, they're worse as you have to long-press the button for about a second before it switches heating levels, while the Keis require just a short press.
I don't have the socks but from what I read you either connect them directly to the battery with a Y-cable and then you have a controller somewhere around your waist, or you connect them to their heated trousers and then the heat setting will be the same as the one you set for the trousers.

That’s the older ones. Newer ones are similar to the glove controls. The new ones are 70% merino though

The scooter and bicycle mounted delivery riders around here (where we have hundreds) aren’t about to spank money on these. They use old muffs, reinforced by (and held on) with miles of gaffer tape. Lights and anything above black clothing are a far away luxury, very often not an option. The muffs stay on all year round.

The latest scam is pinching the batteries out of Lime bikes and the like and grafting them onto their illegal Chinese bicycles. This too requires miles of black gaffer tape.
