I'm heading off to Slovakia next month on the GSA 2 up with luggage and the current tyres (Aznakees) will not last the trip. I've done 2800 miles on them and they're squaring off badly so i'm looking for new boots before the off. Any recommendations, I used Tourances on my old 1150 and loved them but i've also heard great things about the Heidenau K60 Scout and the new Anakee Wild 3s?

Are you going off-road, Chris? I've asked Dean to fit Avon Trailriders to my new GSA, as they seem to get great reviews on here.

You'd think an £18k bike would come with tyres? 👅

Got fed up with tyres squaring off ..on my third set of tkc70 now and love them...did Furka pass in storm last week..pissing down and wanted to get down quick out of lightening....didn't hang about and tyres were brilliant..two up....twisties on Stelvio and some motorway..... top tyre for me...

Avon Trail Riders, have them a week and very happy, having had A3s before. First ride home I was very confused by the noise from the bike. I could actually hear it!

After 11k changed the rear Michelin Annekee 3's to a new one, not had a problem with it, probably could have done another few hundred miles. Front is still in good for another 1-2k but Hopefully the shortage will not last too long.

Recently fitted K60 Scouts onto my F800GS and they are impressive, good on loose with surprisingly really nice 'turn-in' on tarmac,

They feel a bit squibbly on the road for the first few miles and need a good long run to bed them in, then they're fine.

Reputed to wear very well!

11K miles!!!:eek::eek::eek:

How the feck did you manage that? I've only got 2700 miles on mine and they are already squaring off...:blast

Think they were both Wednesday tyres.....good mix of B roads and freeways...half the mileage was against a trip to Spain and Portugal round the coast....most of the time off the motorways.

Very good choice for total tarmac use, I am on my second set on my 1200 GSA, love 'em where did you get them at £200.00?

I was going to go with the PR4 but found a pair of Metzler Tourance about £40 cheaper. Fitted myself. I think they're the OEM tyres?
