New tyres ?

I've had tourance exp, continental trail attack and dunlop tr91's on mine and the dunlops are best so far, excellent grip in the dry and very surefooted in the wet

+1 for Dunlop TR91, on my fourth set, they're brilliant tyre.

However, if you do only road riding it is worth considering Michelin PR4 Trails, I was going to go for them this time but they were on back order with Michelin, it got to the point where I needed tyres to keep legal so fell back on my old favourite TR91.

Other popular option includes Trail attack , Roadsmarts and Bridgestone T30 (well I like them)

I have a Maxxis SuperMax on the back with a half worn Maxxis Detour trail on the front. (They don't do SuperMax in 19"). It's great on the road and fine for my skill level on non muddy trails. Add some mud and they are as useless as any of the dual purpose big bike trail tyres.
