The time has come for new tyres on my 2022 Himi.
I know tyres are a personal choice but I hope someone can share their thoughts on a good 80/20 tyre.
TIA
Paul

Was there any thing wrong with the last set of tyres?

Your bike has a gut busting, nerve shredding, finger whitening, eye popping, mind blowing 22 BHP; the tyres do not need to be state of the art.

Mismatched pair on bike when I bought it, Dunlop and Torrance, want to go for a matched pair hence the questions. Tyres will need changing shortly.

Stay with the different makes. They ain’t killed you yet.

PS Mine had CEAT. They were perfectly more than adequate.

Lots of bikermate tyre banter about awesome tyres for the fire breathing beast here:

Filter out the usual rantings (moaning, more like) about China and the collapse of UK manufacturing. The irony of them moaning, but owning an Indian branded and manufactured motorcycle is, presumably, lost on them.

More to be found via a Google of: best tyres for royal enfield 411 himalayan uk

including tyre videos, which is cool.

I’ve managed with the OEM Ceats so far, but as I’m planning on embarking on some Salisbury Plain fun, the time for something a little more aggressive tread is nigh. I’m being guided towards TKC80s.

D606 rear and MT21 front, the ceats are a bit poor off road.
:)

Metzeler Tourance on my Himmie, well priced, 8-9k from a rear.
If more nobbly required I would go for the TKC80, had them on KTM and Huskys, great tyre.

Went for a Metzler Torrance on the front as already had a Tourance on the rear. Done a few hundred miles with it and so far it has been good.
Will probably stay with them as already said they are well priced and available (used Two Tyres in London, delivery in two days) (y) :DD

A friend has just bought a new set of Ceats from Demon Tweaks for his classic 350, they were apparently £110 for both, including new tubes! That's ridiculously cheap

ContiEscape - good all round tyres and long lasting too.
