I'm new to Mapsource but it seems pretty easy... in general. I've had no difficulty in creating waypoints, locating needed cities or other points of interest, etc. But in specifics I must be doing something very wrong.
When I try to create a route, all I get is a straight ling between waypoints. The route doesn't snap to any roads between them. While I'd enjoy some Enduro riding, I'm afraid the local governments might object to my 'as the crow flies' approach to cross country riding from one side of, say, Japan, to the other.
Even if I create a route along a major road, the route on the map shows only a direct, straight line from point to point rather than following the curving roads. I've followed the quick start guide, I've followed the Mapsource for Dummies I and II here, and I've tried a search for any clues as to what I'm doing wrong. And now I appeal to you; HELLLLLLLLPPPP!
Thanks
