Is it new new , as in from the factory.
Sure you'll enjoy it, they are a nice bike.

If it's a used bike just check the dealer has done the service "enhancements" before you get it.
 
Well it arrived and as it was being unloaded it promptly chucked it down :-(
and as a bonus storm Eowyn is coming to play for the weekend!!
 
I’m hearing the 1300gs is expensive to insure. Its that generally the case ?

They are when they are new. Insurance goes down as they get a few years old.
Don't think it's just the 1300gs though, guess it's all new bikes.

From personal experience a fully specced new 1300gs does seem to cause an issue with some insurance companies as it's value triggers to above £20k & some won't even quote.

I've got mine on multi bike policy £350, think it went up £15 pound from the Ducati i had.
