New wiring loom

Hi,
Restoration of my R65 GS is complete. The bike is running great!! One thing puzzles me though...
I've put a new wiring loom on. Lights are always on. Is that normal? Are new wiring looms fitted with the so called "idiot light" device?

Where did you get the new loom from (I want one)?

No, you've got your wires crossed somewhere I think. Back of the ignition switch would be my guess.

Yes, there must be some wires crossed over somewhere... making a new thread on the forum cause I've got more electrical problems now... ironandsteel, i got my new loom from motorworks: 01484353600. Give them a call, very nice and helpful people, they might have a second hand one somewhere...
