Sorry, but I just don’t get these things. Each to their own though....

This is a young French girl, lives near Morzine and has sheep..living at Ariundle Centre until she learns how to weave wool the traditional way !

She lives in the Alps in the summer working as a shepherd then moves to the north of France for the winter because she doesn’t like skiing! A month in Scotland learning how to make the wool harvested from a sheep into a jumper.

A few quid in those setups.
I like ours, loads of space, very comfy and a good view.
I did think of putting our fridge up on top of the drawers like that but then Jennifer wouldn’t be able to see inside it.

You can park up on ground you wouldn’t like to put a tent up on and be comfy - tarmac, mud, rocky, wet, car park, whatever
Very quick and easy to put up and down
Away from most ground crawling things
Better view
More space
Leave bedding in the tent when you fold it down
Don’t take up space in your truck and no mat or sleeping bag to store somewhere

But yes, better in warm African bush than 10 below :DD

Not for me but I can see their appeal. The first one. on the Toyota is £7K's worth.
The quality is superb and worth every penny in my book :thumby:

Set off from Moffat around 8am, cold -2 but clear

Got colder going into Yorkshire, and then warmer as I approached the midlands + temps

Then as I got to Newbury, the temperature plummeted and it turned to freezing fog , and it's been like that ever since

I had to make a detour on the way home, to see someone so arrived home at 5:30

Bike is covered in shite, unloaded, an will be cleaned tomorrow, I'm now having a chip buttie an a bottle or two or three of cider :friday

Fair play, that’s a log schlepp in the cold.

You’ve earned that cider

The story so far ....

One other camper van on the site, not one of ours, lovely young couple. Taps in a hut, spends most of his time asleep, thankfully :D

Heading down to the cafe for breakfast :thumby:

Probable head across to Kirkinch tomorrow, to the Swamplands of Perth

Then south and home ....

:beerjug:

I was wondering if anyone was still up there.
Good show gents! :thumb2
