I'm meeting up with my daughter at the Eurotunnel and we have separately installed 20s headsets in our helmets but have been unable to test them (she lives 200mls away). When they're in normal 1 to 1 intercom mode, do we have to press the jog button every time we want to speak or does that only apply when you're paired to more than one 'friend' and you have to select which one to speak to?

You press the button to open the channel and then press again when you've finished talking. You can just leave the channel open the whole time if you want but the battery wouldn't last as long

Thanks. Does anyone have any idea how the the battery life would be with the channel left open?

After a brilliant trip to Spa (the long way) just a quick note to say how impressive the bike to bike comms were. Ended up leaving the channel open and the battery easily coped with a 250 mile ride. Overall, an excellent device only let down by the radio which needs a strong signal to work. Phone - via my Garmin 390 - works a treat and tunes straight from my iPhone when needed.

Same here. Always ride a full day with the channel open and never ran out.
