Hello,

Newbie to the site, Im from Blyth Northumberland
I have a 2015 1200 GSA in white, Hard panniers fitted and all the bells a whistles (no keyless or quick shift)
Front light guard and clock guard by Cymark fitted.
going for some oil cooler guards next.
I have not done many miles as yet but still enjoying the bike.

Does anyone have a Navigator 4 for sale?

Come springtime i'll be looking to get out more on the bike so if there's any one local wants a ride out i'll be interested.

Cheers for now, :bounce1

Welcome Ian, there are quite a few north easterners get on the site. Is it not a Nav 5 that you want, so that you can use the mount on the bike and see the bike diagnostics. I don't think the Nav 4 displays this info.

If you are not too fussed about the sat nav being fully integrated, a Nav 4/ Zumo 660 will fit the mount and charge fine. Fully integrated it will need to be a Nav 5 or the new Nav 6 coming out next year.

Ian - you may or may not be interested but amongst the many groups in the North East, I'd recommend this one -

http://www.nam-online.org

I would say that of course, as I'm a member, but a thriving group with lots going on and plenty of company

Hi. I'm from Ashington.
My GS has the Nav 5. But I was given it with the bike. I must admit that I wouldn't be without it now.

In April went from Ashington to Plymouth - Santander to Algeciras across to Tangier Morocco to edge of the Sahara and back on my GS without any guards anywhere. I might get a headlight guard sometime tho.
All too expensive & not really necessary I think.
Ride out anytime you like.

Ian, I have a Nav 4 for sale. It is as close to brand new as is possible and the reason is that my original one had the screen damaged so I sent it off to Garmin approx two months ago. They sent me a brand new one in exchange including new battery. The Nav has lifetime map updates included and is under guarantee/warranty for approx 10 months. The charging lead will be included . Don't have the box for it. I'm looking for £250 plus postage. The replacement from Garmin cost me £150
If interested pm me

Ian, have realised you can't pm me as you are not a subscriber yet so post on this topic again if you're interested in Nav 4

Welcome to the site Ian...consider becoming a subscriber... The money you save on stuff for sale on here will far outweigh the cost of subscription.... Once you're in, you'll never look back ;)

Thanks for the info RE the nav 4, I am aware the functionality wont be there with the 4 but I just cannot afford the 5 at the moment, ive been looking at a Zumo 660 for now, there is some on ebay for £114.00 which would do.
I was given a Rider 1 sat nav by a kind soul from a group on faceache, the battery needs replacing just waiting for it to arrive

Bryn,
I have tried to subscribe a few times but just keep getting an error message on paypal final page, can I just pay with my bank card.

Hi I'm from Alnmouth. Got a 12 plate gs. I took the nav4 plate off and rewired a garmin into the plug. Bmw use same operating system but at 4 times the price. Wasn't prepared to pay £550. Heading to Germany next year with a group of gsers should put the garmin through a good test
