He there

Thought I would say hi and share a pic of when I picked up my new GSA TE with my mate who also picked up his 2014 GSA TE :)

Interesting dealer experience so far, wont go into detail. Finding my gearbox is a bit tight going between gears, couldn't find neutral at first, but getting a little easier now.

Thanks

Welcome the bikes look fab enjoy!

How much was the headlight cover?

Looks like Vines,.?

I always find them spot on. And amongst the best at the bmw game.!

I thought Chandlers in Brighton (well, Portslade...)

The Headlight cover was around £100 fitted (headlight out to fit). I first saw the GSA at the London show and it had one fitted. I think it finishes off the front with it on.

Spot on JTB, it is Chandlers near Brighton.

Snaponphil, they gave me a soft bag for the back while they are waiting for the key for the topbox. Found that on the new GSA the lock is coded in Germany so there is a delay. As far as I know it is just a generic BMW tail bag they gave me :(

cammy5477, As I mentioned it was an interesting day (not necessarily for the right reasons). Would of been nice to collect the bike complete. The Dealer tried hard to turn things around though. Just waiting for the topbox and inner bag now.

One thing I didn't say is I have gone to the GSA from a F800 GS. I had sports bikes before that and I can honestly say how different the GSA is to the F800. It carries its weight very well, also the stability under braking is on another level. Looking forward to getting the first service out the way so I can open it up on a long run.

Does the angle of it not spoil the beam pattern :nenau

They look fantastic guys and a great weekend to play out as well, enjoy yourselves! Nice to see the 2 colours side by side, they both look ace but I'm biased to the white, 2 weeks to mine!

Two nice looking bikes :thumb
The LED light unit appears to have a removable plastic front cover, so why would you require an additional plastic shield ? Is it that the inbuilt cover is horrendously expensive or is it built with unobtanium :nenau

Congratulations,Weiss needs a nice smoked screen though loving ours have you got the quickshifter..???
First ride in the dark this week absolutely superb,it gets better every ride so far on 1300 miles with another 200 tomorrow just a month old.
