Lucky or what!
I got a test ride (1200GS) 3 weeks ago at Jefferies in Shipley. Loved the bike and ordered one to be delivered at the end of November (a cancelled order).
A week later I went in to finalise the px deal on my 1150r and was told of a bike I could have within the week due to another cancellation!
I picked the bike up last Saturday and spent the day smiling all the way from Shipley to Kettlewell, Aysgarth, Hawes, Ingleton, Settle and home to Halifax. What a bike! I loved the 1150r for it's 'real bike' looks and great finish but it can't come close to the GS for handling and sheer fun. I wish I were half as good a rider as the bike makes me appear to be!
I am thinking about adding a few bits and would appreciate your views and knowledge on the following items:
Touratech crash bars, H&B crash bars.
Touratech oil cooler covers.
Touratech headlamp covers.
Remus exhausts.
Huggers and extended mudguards (originals don't seem very effective against Yorkshire Dales horse and cow s..t)
