Hi all. I've recently bought a 2013 R1200GS.
It didn't come with any sat nav, so I'm running through some options. I own a BMW compatible Carpuride 702 which I'd like to wire straight to the bike's auxiliary plug. However, the connectors don't match, so I've bought some adapters from Ali Express which might help.

What are my other options?
1. Connect Carpuride via Thunderbox to the battery?
2. Buy an original BMW Nav?
3. Anything else?

Thank you in advance.

I just bought a fitting / plug that fits the bikes aux plug, simple to wire in and works with the ignition with a delay shut off. The usb connection isn’t always the best and sometimes in heavy rain they can have issues. The nav aux plug is under the the right hand side front fairing / screen fitting area. Connection to the bmw nav
aux plug is the better job.

Thank you. Do you have a link please?

Dunno about that. Had a 502 fitted to mine, which was as much use a a chocolate fire guard until I connected my phone to it. Sat nav works fine without the phone.
Never had an issue with mine

I have the latest smartphone that requires high power
