I'm trying to figure out if £610 is worth it. Maybe if I can use off bike, walking around city, in car etc. Thanks

You can use it off the bike but will need the car kit at extra cost

Thanks Redick, I see approx cost for car kit £80. Can you use as hand held? Cheers

I dont see why not !

As long as the Battery has charge it will turn on and find a satellite and give directions that you wont be able to hear unless you have a bluetooth headset.

Not sure if it has a pedestrian mode

Cheers Redrick. £600, just trying to get my head round it, especially when I see Zumo340 at Aldi for £200 and previously I have used my phone app...free

You should be able to get one on this site for around £400-450 if you are lucky. If you have a late BMW with the control wheel the extra features are very good, but it is a lot of money:blast

Battery life is a good few hours and extended with usb/cigar-lighter cable
The Zumo 660 car cradle will work which would save a few quid second-hand

Doesn't the Nav V have a speaker? The Zumo 660 (Nav IV) does.

It is pricey. depends if you're coupling it with a Bike that runs telemetry to it? I love the Nav V as it completes the relatively poor dash on my GSA. You can see everything on the fly from your elevation, to sunset time, to tyre pressures. PLUS, its good for musing, sat nav directions, traffic etc.

I cant see the point of spending that much for a BMW Nav 5, If its to fit in the factory fitted mount then a 660 will do that also, Ive had mine since 2010, the wife can use it in the car, everything you need comes in the box.
If you dont have the factory fitted mount you can buy whatever garmin you like and some good units out there with lifetime maps under £300.
