Hi, Newbie Tosser seeks advice from the knowledgable ones...

Does anyone have the same ABS problem?

My ABS lights flash for about 20mins from the off, then eventualy become static.

Is this normal on an 1150GSA?

Also, how smooth should these engines sound? I know they are meant to have an agricultutal sound to them but mine also has a slight high pitched rattle. Im sure everything is cool as the bike has had a full BM service history, but being a new biker and new to GS's - thought I would just check.

thannks Steptoe, i think servo. But I also think it could be a battery issue, perhaps on the way out.

Cheers for the advice

Big Jim from Tasy, I appreciate the reply thanks.

Will search for other Tossers and bug them with questions.

Brakes

If it's a servo model you'll here it operating when you apply the brakes cant miss it really unless your hard of hearing. Flashing abs lights can mean a miriad of different things dependant on how fast or slow they flash, all listed in the owners manual, but without more details it's hard to diagnose and some faults will result in severely reduced braking if you have a servo braked bike.
