Found an internet cafe at last! Reporting from Morroco.
Blagged my way into the bivouac in Qarzarzate last night and met up with Charlie and team. Surprised how fit they still looked. By comparison they told us to go and get some sleep as we looked more knackered than them. Atmosphere in bivouac is amazing and hopefully will have some good photos to post up when we eventualmly get back.
Hard work just trying to keep up with them without even doing all the off road sections. All keyboard warriors back home should try to maintain the pace over here. They had 4.00 am start this morning but we wimped out and left them to it. I personally have enormous respect for anyone who enters this event and seriuosly hope that Charlie and team make it to Dalar.
Saw end of special stage yesterday then blasted back along liason route for over 100 miles through mountains. Had interesting blast through the mountains in the dark with a competitor on a quad.
Today met large group from KTM all on 950 Adventures, some factory people and others customers trying out the bikes. We may have spoiled their promotional video when we left them behind on the ride down the mountain despite being on an ancient R1100GS 2 up with a ton off luggage.
