Careful Franco, steady boy

I made a remark about my wife´s christmas cakes on new years eve and she treated me like shit unil yesterday (and I´ve been in bed with flu all that time). Hard hearted women. and of course....If any of you ever meet her, that's a joke...she's a great cook and we never had this conversation etc:rolleyes:

I take it the remarks weren't positive then :D Don't worry...If I meet her, your secret's safe with me....:P

It's still there

The link still works to their site. I guess the all new Savanna 3 kit will be launched as well, all at full list of course!

face facts guys

...... that is one cool looking bike.

Ten years we'll all be riding one, I'll wager

Newsflash

Good work mike:clap
1200 Looks better every time I see it,
Get thee from behind me Satan:rolleyes:

Well Done Mike

The url is still working.

Personally I think it looks good, one thing I found scouting around the site was this

BMW Motorrad models are thus either fitted with ABS as standard or the electronically regulated BMW Motorrad ABS is optionally available as a factory fit.

Which suggests that ALL beemers will now have ABS with the only option being for a "better" version... or this this spoof text to fill spaces???

1200 gs

Looks can be deceiving ............ as the saying goes ... the proof of the pudding is in the eating .
I wonder how many people will be able to resist the temptation to buy one straightaway and wait a year or so to see if any problems arise before parting with hard earned cash .

Still a nice looking bike tho '

Steady Eddie

i also think it looks better and better each time i see it!! (note to self: pr0ne, you are skint) but two things i need to know; will we be able to purchase a non-linked, non-ABS version if we want one, and also, what about about this scarver-style fake tank luggage compartment thing.....

pr0ne

Nice.

Current plan is to wait until this November when my 1150GS is 2 years then, aassuming all has been well in the 6 months after release, I'll go for a 1200 with alloy wheels.

Mike

Link appears to be down now.............:(

COPY THE PICS IF YOU WANT THEM

B*W WILL ASK THE FORUMS TO TAKE THEM DOWN SOON...

I don't think so.... it'll make them look silly. And they're close to launch anyway...

Link still works

Advrider also say the link doesn't work, well it does for me, admittedly not every time but just refresh and it turns up.

I reckon the 1200 looks good, in a more more up to date sort of way, and it will be an improvement on the current GS. I'm with Mike Belch on this, wait 6 months and then go for it. A lot of us will be concerned about the values of the 1150 going down, but there's no need to be, all we have to do is take a test ride on the 1200, and declare it a pile of sh**e and nowhere near as good as the 1150, instantly creating great demand for the 1150 and keeping the value up!,......after a couple of months we can rush into the dealers and cut a deal on one of the many 1200's littering the showroom floors!!!

nice one mike

looks a bit small not to sure about the expensive plastic pannels must remember to take them off before going off road.

That's probably because it's in your browser cache. They have removed the page.

Have the Patrick Moore "Little 'n' Large" headlamps swapped round from the 1150 or does Jonny Foreigner have his lights the other way round anyway?????
