Hmm, maybe should've gone on the BNI run after all. Was put off by a crap forecast and thought the track would be a mud bath but it looks OK in the pics.
Like Bob, I had a run around the Borders on sunday ... down to Hawick, Newcastleton, Langholm and up the B709. Did the Tibbie Shiels track again then Moffat and back up the road.

Oh, and an SSDT photie for GC ...

Had a great day out, but was absolutely knackered by the time I got home................... I had done 460 miles, starting at 07:00

Good to meet up with all the folk, and see Gordon's latest venture (when we eventually found it :blast ).

There were a few reportable moments however..............

The local village idiot turned up..........

.... and took an unhealthy interest in a nice girl in yellow.........

he was later spotted on his knees..................

and rummaging through someones jacket (looking for money for Buckfast  ) while the rest of the group were distracted......

Looking forward to the next one (and my shoulders getting better :tears )

Nice pics.

Blackal I think you may need to edit some of your pics as numberplates are visible!

I too elected for the solo run around the Borders. Kept it mainly to B and unclassified roads and found some new trails fairly close to home. In fact, I may have the makings of another cracking Borders route for a future meet. (Without the extreme downhill scree runs though!)

start of the journey home, ferry out of shot :blast

Thanks to Gordon for the hospitality at the Ben Nevis Inn:thumb2 and for leading the idiots on the trails:thumb2 :thumb2 , I hadn't a clue where I was until I saw a signpost for Perth on the way home.
A fine way to spend a Sunday.
Great to meet some more Tossers :D
And I'm glad to have given Den so much entertainment with my 'moment':augie :D

A special hello to the new faces ;)

Shinyface :clap

Nice shot Blair, thanks. Did you see anyone clean the section?
I know some of the spectators there. One of them left that big erection in our car park. :augie
I did notice the blue and white GS at the start of the tree line.

The top riders were getting through no bother :clap
I would've popped in but was hurrying round trying to follow someone ... saw him at Lower Mamore, Pipeline, Achintee and Nevis Forest. I think I was more knackered than he was
