Our first stop this morning was for a cup of coffee freshly ground trodden by the pygmies of the Pointy Heid tribe at Robmacks hoose.

Got home after a manic ride back from Tyndrum.

Had an amazing couple of days out. Got to see Skye and beyond. Beautiful.

Had a great night with Trickday and stayed in a nice hotel in Uig.

i'm actually too tired to type much more but thanks to all the guys (and the girl Tash the best looking and most charming chick on a bike ever) for a brilliant run.

I'll definately be back if thats ok?

Ian

PS- the bridge seemed much smaller than I expected!

Well what a cracking day. Best weather for a Scottish ride out that I've ever enjoyed.

If I didn't think that it would go straight to his empty heid I'd say "...the route was brilliant Johnnie.:thumb"

Really sorry to have to head south early but it was 18:30 by the time I got home and there was a bottle of red requiring attention along with a roast dinner not to mention guests. As I'd only had 1 tuna mayo sandwich and 1 piece of chocolate all day (541 miles) I decided that dinner and plonk rated higher than posting!:D

The 1150 just managed to keep up with the 1200's(:augie) on the day and the final 96 miles to Glasgow south was accomplished in just over 90 minutes including the 30mph crawl down Loch Lomond side behind what seemed like an enless queue led by a motor caravan:mad:.

I managed to get into top gear today and think that I actually achieved 60mph on one or two occasions. I might achieve mediocrity at this rate!

As you can see from the photo's it was such a stunningly fantastic day that photography was difficult due to the glare but you'll get an idea of what the day was like:D

Hope the weather's as good for the next time there's a wee run, ah might have my new bike :bounce1 anyway, it was good to meet a few of you guys the day. Thanks again. Bobby
