Bumped into Mr Dalziel at Clarkies when I was up getting filters. Seemingly there is an event up there next weekend. Cant remember if he said Sat or Sun.

Bmw riders gear will be auctioned-off to the highest bidders. ( why did I type that last bit. It wouldnt be to the third highest bidder ..would it ) And its a proper fast talkin auctioneer with a hammer and probably a bow tie.

Anyhoo .... the gooder bit is, that the MCN girls will be there and he almost promised that if you ride a GS .... you'll be set-upon sexually by these little lycra minxes.

Dont know anything else about it. My mind seemed to wander a little when he mentioned mini-skirts and things ...

So, Ive told you about it. Suppty yersels . I may go if its sunny.

Well you've half told me about it but you need to be more specific, I should be home for next weekend as I am going to watch the Austrailian Pink Floyd show at the Aberdeen exhibition centre

BMW Motorrad & Clark's bikes on demo. (Bring yer licence - both parts)
MCN & Knockhill dollies (got mine reserved ).
Clothing sale (dunno about an auction 'tho)
All day burgers n' coffee/tea.
Other attractions.
Live music from BabyJane (Mr. Dalziel will be performing too)
BMW Club stand (gotta publicise that 'cos I'm manning it)

Saturday 2nd. 9-5, Sunday 3rd. 11-5

Ehh.......neigh lad. (Or so the horse's mouth told me this morning.) No band this time around, although that won't necessarily stop the irrepressible Mr D from performing in some fashion or another....

More to the point and as I just discovered today, there is planned to be an HP2 Sport demo bike. Form an orderly queue......

The clothing sale is, I believe going to take the form of an auction. Now we just need good weather...

Aye Alan. It's richt guid wee bike.

Good to see a few friendly faces down their on Saturday - My gloves fit a treat and for £20 a bargain too. The HP2 sport did look very nice indeed however I didn't see one on as a demo bike or did I miss that

Alot of bargains in the auction, I should have gone down in a van. I also missed Schtum, would have been nice to meet you at last. I'm still unsure which bike in the BMW range would be the one to get me to sign as I don't feel they have made anything as solid as the 1150 since. I do like the X-series and the mega moto but Like my 1150 a bit more.

Got an invite to MCW through the post

Never got one from Clarkies even though I've spent near on 25k with them.

Maybe it was because I questioned there customer service

I never got an invite from Clarky's either, despite giving then about 3 years of my working life, and buying two bikes from them, and not swearing at anyone in charge when I worked there...

But I went anyway. Can't ignore a free bacon and egg roll.
