Next years holiday fad, some info wanted!

Hi folks

Next years holiday is being talked about already The plan is for Myself, Mrs Big Lee, no 1 child (5), no1 childs buddy (4 1/2) & her Dad to stay in a villa in France down southish. My plan is for them to fly down to said villa and I set off a few days before and ride there on my motorbike camping along the way and taking in great roads and fab scenery Killing 2 birds with one stone so to speak
I would rather like to stay somewhere around the route Napolean but to be honest have never stayed in a villa when sorting it out getting flights and accomodation seperatly.
Does anyone else do this and have any recommendations of how to get a good one or even where to stay or look out for when booking.

Is it so that you can go biking, while the rest sit around?

What else, if anything, do you / the others want to do?

Have you done anything similar before?

Why are you camping on the way down? It's a two, at the most three day ride to the top of the RN.

Where on the RN do you / might you want to stay? It's a bloody long road.

Its a road we`ve done a few years ago and I rather fancy doing it all on my bike.

I`m using the bike to get there & back rather than riding round when I`m there as we`ll probably hire a car to travel around. It`s a chance for me to do a ride while getting some family holiday in

We`ll have a crack about what we fancy doing there as and when

We`ve done nothing similar

Why not camp? I like it

Not bothered whare I stay on the RN

Route(s) down? Motorway to: Cambrai or St Quentin or Troyes

From either / all pick up the N / D roads to the Bis roads south (choice of routes) then cut across to the top of RN. All on Michelin maps.

Loads of camp sites on route and / or hotels.

Follow RN south to gitte of your choice.
