I have a laptop i'm trying to connect to a server in the US. The laptop can mount a NFS export on an internal network so I know it's working.
The server which isn't working currently has it's firewall disabled, is running Fedora 6 (tried 4 and 5), is running SSH/apache/mail fine and has the following from rpcinfo:
100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
100000 2 udp 111 portmapper
100024 1 udp 746 status
100024 1 tcp 749 status
100011 1 udp 603 rquotad
100011 2 udp 603 rquotad
100011 1 tcp 606 rquotad
100011 2 tcp 606 rquotad
100021 1 udp 32768 nlockmgr
100021 3 udp 32768 nlockmgr
100021 4 udp 32768 nlockmgr
100003 2 udp 2049 nfs
100003 3 udp 2049 nfs
100003 4 udp 2049 nfs
100021 1 tcp 54192 nlockmgr
100021 3 tcp 54192 nlockmgr
100021 4 tcp 54192 nlockmgr
100003 2 tcp 2049 nfs
100003 3 tcp 2049 nfs
100003 4 tcp 2049 nfs
100005 1 udp 635 mountd
100005 1 tcp 638 mountd
100005 2 udp 635 mountd
100005 2 tcp 638 mountd
100005 3 udp 635 mountd
100005 3 tcp 638 mountd
/etc/exports is: /Igaro (ro,insecure,fsid=0)
both /etc/hosts.allow and hosts.deny are blank
When I try to rpcinfo -p serverip using the laptop
I get a massive delay before a timeout. Same issue with mount.
