Not too keen on the seat unit but apart from that, very tasty. 108BHP @ RW :thumb :D

Some fairly substantial differences between the bike in the first of those pics & the one in the action shots. Different forks... engine, gearbox, paralever & FD change colour, different seats. Probably the same bike at different stages of modification.

I'd be really interested to know the details of what engine mods were made to get 108bhp at the rear wheel.... :thumb

Well spotted Paul. Different bikes. They're both built by RennKuh. The bike in the first shot is based on a rockster - hence the black everything:) - although it does look like it's fitted with 1100GS forks for some reason.

As for 108BHP at the RW - I'm not sure what they've done, the sites in German :( They've certainly fitted a complete aftermarket system which looks very much like the laser hot cam systems that I've seen. I'd also guess that they're using high compression pistons, aftermarket cam, chip, K&N and possibly also gas flowing.

108bhp would be nice, wouldn't it :D

I did had a trial fitting of one of those exhaust systems, but didn't like the fact that I would have to lose the sump guard, engine bar mounting points (I have Touratech bars fitted) & centre stand.

All the 1100/1150R's had those forks, usually in silver but the Rocksters had them in dark blue.

I noticed that it's a t/spark model & I'm sure that this can be used to improve performance although the ignition timing as standard, is set for emissions reduction. The secondary plugs fire at TDC to clean up the exhaust gas as it exits. I was toying with the idea of changing my '00 to a t/spark by using replacement c/heads & setting up a second set of coils triggered at the same time as the primary plugs....

So what was the outcome in terms of power? I nearly went for one on ebay a few months ago but decided that the centre stand was just too useful. Could possibly be tempted though

Twin spark idea sounds interesting - you go first and let us all know how you get on :D

No idea on the power. My Y piece cracked & I was looking at options for replacement. Reyno had one of these in his garage & offered to let me try it so I removed my exhaust & realised the extra changes I'd have to make. I wasn't prepared to sacrifice the engine bars & centrestand.

As for the t/spark conversion, I've acquired a pair of really good t/spark c/heads, bought some head gaskets, coils & plug leads for the secondary plugs, then realised that the c/heads I've got are for an 1100S so have different exhaust header mounts. Now I have to decide whether to change the exhaust headers, get different c/heads or sell the lot as a kit to someone with an 1100GS...

:mmmm

I've already fitted a Y piece & Remus Genesis race can, K&N filter & now changed the chip for a Powercommander with fantastic results. Peak power & torque increased nicely, but the biggest benefit was a 10% increase in power from a 40% throttle opening (just the point you accelerate from in normal conditions).
