I had a nice bimble this afternoon.
Left Eastleigh, on to Otterborne, through Hursley, then to Romsey, on to Sherfield English heading towards Salisbury.
Out of Salisbury, on to Durrington. carried on to Netheravon, nice scenery, somewhere on route
(Not that I ever have a destination, just turn off where the whim takes me.) i turned off towards Ludgershall, then on to Tidworth, saw a sign for Thruxton, thought to myself, this will do nicely, till I realised this was taking me on to the A303. So I turned around, as I remembered a sign for "The Wallops". Riding through them in fading light was wonderful. Then on to Stockbridge and through Winchester, ending up back in Hursley before arriving home.
There was that lovely damp smell of spring, i arrived home, chilled, mentally chilled.
So lovely to ride along at your own pace, without a care in the world.
