Well as you've all seen.................one of the original UKGSER brethren, Timolgra got married yesterday to the most radiant, attractive and generous blonde I know, Ange................who has recently joined this GS riding malarkey in the last couple of years
The North Wales weather yesterday was perfect for a wedding (and a bike ride) and Ange looked stunning and Tim looked his usual chilled and laidback, if not a bit dapper self
I've known Tim since the inception of UKGSER 10 years ago and he's one of the best guys to be around and since meeting Ange I know he's been at his happiest in the last 2 years. Ange is one of the most amazing ladies, that any bloke could call his wife, not only is she attractive - but is so easygoing and up to try anything or everything in life
It was a small, mainly family affair - but we were honoured to be invited with Mark (Earthmover) and Denise, however sadly Timpo and Rick couldn't make the 'do', because they were trailriding in France
The ceremony took place at Mold registry office, a beautiful old stone hall
A great lunch followed at nearby Beaufort Park Hotel and an evening drink at the Hope & Anchor, where we were briefly graced by Kenny (who got horribly lost
) and his wife
Denise, Mark (Earthmover) and Tim
Seb...............Tim's son - a chip off the bloke for sure
The 4 of us stayed here, The Tower - a 14thC fortified Manor House and it was stunning, the most amazing place - we had a ball
http://www.towerwales.co.uk/
Hugely recommended and the owners gave us a lengthy personal tour, befitting of any stately home, this morning
Helen, my other half enjoying a brief rest in the grounds, before we left for the evening reception
today we visited the famed Ponderosa, for a looksee and Kawasaki were holding a test-ride day and had a good look at the Versys - not bad
We saw Kenny's bike.........................but no Kenny
Lunch followed at Llangollen
Not the usual ride report, but a lovely weekend and many thanks, just the tonic we both needed at present
