At a local weekly bike meet tonight and got chatting to the owner of this AMF "Police Edition" shovelhead (1972?). The owner told me that according to an old log book that he has, the owner after being imported was none other than Nick Mason. John, the owner, had the saddlebags made locally by a local saddler as he didn't like the stock fibregass hard bags. Nice I thought.
