The motor yacht isn't quite as hideous as this house in Pacific Heights, San Francisco that has just been bought by the widow of Steve Jobs for US$70m - making it the most expensive house in SF.
Gosh, you could buy a slightly better than average but not superstar Premier League midfielder for that amount of money, and so that price for a house and or a footballer is obscene.![]()

Yebbut once you’re on it you can’t see it from the outside. I bet it’s blooming nice inside though.Looks like the bastard son of a submarine and a warship to me. Jeez there's no accounting for taste, no matter how loaded you are
And of course park it up in Puerto Banus with the gang plank down and no matter how ugly and fat you are it will be swarming with scantily clad young ladies prepared to uck you to death in the hot tubWell for balance and just in case Mr Simonyi frequents these pages and gets upset about everyone dissing his yacht I think it looks pretty cool and purposeful.
Almost certainly not happening in Portree harbour...And of course park it up in Puerto Banus with the gang plank down and no matter how ugly and fat you are it will be swarming with scantily clad young ladies prepared to uck you to death in the hot tub
BUTEC is in the Raasay SoundWasn’t that close to where nuclear sub HMS “Anguish” grounded a few years back.
The ComOff was relieved of his duties soon thereafter IIRC?
Always something that would stop me from moving from sailing to a gin palace is the hideous cost, an initial reaction would be how unfair it is someone could afford to spaff £40m a year on a boat but I suppose it's one way of the rest of society attempting to claw back some of their mountain of cashMy lad see’s a lot of these tech billionaires boats in the Caribbean, especially around Christmas. Remember its not just the purchase price, these boats need a minimum of 10 to 15% value for daily running costs , fuel staff , berthing. So Norn will be costing £40 mill per year minimum.
However Charles’s net worth of $8 billion may go some way to funding that![]()
They must have found the only “shingle” bank this side of Gosport.BUTEC is in the Raasay Sound
