I saw this in Edinburgh today. Very nicely done, I thought. The owner was a nice guy who was happy to talk about it. It's apparently bored out to 1500cc and will happily hold 70 mph all day.

He also has a 1200C which is suitably customised and has, of course, recently been sitting on 2010 GSes in Mottorad Central.

I met him and I take it his missus in Tiso's in Leith. Got talking and as usual if you're into bikes in Edinburgh, discovered that we have at least one mutual acquaintance.

Was the other bike in the pic with him on the bypass and do you know what it is....? :)

nope, he was on his own, at the risk of an easy answer it's a bit Kawasaki Green the other bike....and probably not a Kawasaki at that....:blast

No, it's the nicest Virago 535 I've ever seen and I don't even like the bloody things. :rolleyes:
 
Wasn't there a company just outside of Leith who were building Indians under licence about 10 years ago? Can't remember their name.
 
I recall the was a shop called "The Electric Light Company" or something like that, that used to sell Indians.

If I remember rightly the shop was in one of the backstreet lanes of West Scotland Street.

I think the owner was a chap who used to front a punk? band in the late seventies.
