When I first saw the Adventure I much preferred the front end over the standard GS. Especially if one did not have the DLR or LED set up, as there is a big hole under the headlight.
So I purchased the little bit of plastic trim (£14) from the GSA. It came in black plastic so I painted it to match the bike. Direct swap.
To fit it one had to remove all the body work and the beak. Not too long a job. There are 6 extra length fixing bolts holding the body on.
2 that also clamp the air intake pipes (one each side)
4 for the black trim by the rider's seat (2 each side)
This may be of interest to those who have a hole under the headlight or those who don't like to see the heat sink for the LED headlight.
