nickel coated fork brace

just had the the fork brace nickel coated looks excellent hopefully last for a while too. going to get the forks powder coated when its stripped down then thats the bike back to nearly new condition :D

Before you go down the powder coating route with the forks, can I suggest talking to Lindsay at Henderson's Metal Cleaning in Edinburgh.

He convinced a friend of mine that two pack epoxy would produce a better and more durable finish than powder coating.

He also did the rocker covers on Mike O's bike and although there was the odd glitch along the way, I think that Mike was ultimately very pleased with the result.

Where and how much for the fork brace, mine is being replaced on warranty and was only done last Sept before I got the bike so may be a good option

it cost me £30 inc postage from someone on here and a mate got it plated for free ,he owed me a favour !

hello chris it looks like chrome with a gold tint really pleased with it even better cause it cost nothing . going up scotland for the weekend you fancy a run ?

You can go 'up' Scotland if you like, I am already there! Where are you thinking of heading? Went over to St Marys on Sunday then home via Miss Ellies!:D
