just coming upto 600 miles on my GS since collecting it a week ago, but...
1. as stated many times here, gear indicator gets confused very easily between 5th and 6th and the bike has yet to out in the rain.
2. as stated many times here, drive chain is looking a little suspect with slack and tight spots.
3. headlight nearly dropped off yesterday as one of the bolts that hold on the bracket came out completely and the other was very loose.
4. the exhaust is slightly loose on its bracket to the bodywork.
5. there is a bit of popping and banging from the exhaust at about 5k-6k revs, which i suspect is because it has a slight leak somewhere in the system.
The quality control system seems to need a little improving IMHO.
Any thoughts on the popping and banging exhaust would be appreciated, especially before i take it in for the first service so i have a good idea of what to say about it.
