Assuming the snow has gone, plan to be there

Folk turn up, there's a bit of craic. No one else turns up I read the paper and have a few cold ones in a different setting

Win win really, as suggested before

Sounds good. I'll put it in my diary. If I'm in the country, I'll try my best to be there:thumb2
Will be wanting to get a walk in first. What time were you thinking for a meet up?

I'm interested in attending this one. It would give me a great run up and back on the bike :thumby: and hopefully meet some of you tossers :D

AA, the walk sounds inviting but 4 hours  I would end up sleeping for another four back at the ranch and miss all/any of the fun !! :beerjug::beer:

I would probably come alone but could be persuaded to invite my better half if anyone else is considering a "couples" thing

Cheers

Col

This sounds interesting - will pencil it in the diary.

Cheers...........Grizzly

Magic run from Strontian past Ariundle over the hill to Polloch and if you're on a GS the forest track to Glenfinnan is one of the best.
Some really nice short walks from Polloch or Glen Hurich, it's a lovely area and the natives are friendly.

Any chance you guys might like to head North on Sunday 26th......?

Applecross is but a wee ride North?!
A few GS's may be there ahead of you but easily do-able from where you'll be.

If you come, please make yourselves known? At least we won't have to worry about you lot on the Saturday night!!!

Looks like I can't make this, after all.
Have to go to Singapore for an audit.............hey, someone's got to do it:D

Happy to be keeping my job but as a result, I'm back offshore on 16/4 so unable to attend this soirée

Any room for a small one. I'm looking forward to a week or so in Scotland at the end of the month. This would be a great second stop point for me. I've only got a rough plan for the trip starting on Friday 24th. Basically my plan is, to point my bike north and open the throttle. So maybe I could pick you brains as I will be travelling on to Skye then north from there. I attend a bike do in Sterling once a year with my club, but have a yearning to go further north. I've been to Avimore by bike some years ago up the A9, so this time I want to concentrate more on the west coast ish. Back in the day I've been to F.William in the west by four wheeled means, but that doesn't count.
I'm also partial to malt based drinks of any kind providing it's not Horlicks. So my tour could be modified to visit the very places that make the amber elixir.

Forget the A9, purely a functional road for getting north. Get to the central belt through Border country (which I don't really know) then head along the west coast via Oban and then the ferry at Corran if you're coming to Strontian. If you want to go to distilleries either plan to go to Islay (by ferry obviously) or Speyside (the A95 from Grantown to Keith)

Plenty of it around:jager
