Nippy Norman Spotlight Brackets?

I've got NN's and they are great. BUT MiGsel is one of us so I feel guilty every time I turn them on :o

The NN bracket in question is nicely made BUT you can only put one set of lights on it.

The MiGSel bar will accept two sets.

That said, NN also does a bracket of similar design, but with aded support gussets.

Take ya pick?

I agree the Migsel one looks the nuts but I'm probably going to buy some other stuff from NN and may save quite a bit on postage if I combine together. Also...

I've got Norm's ones. No probs at all and they're discreet. Which is nice. :thumb

...... discreet appeals to me as well.

Thanks for the feedback guys, at least it gives me a some good choices now.

Got a set from Santa, well made, but holes are very close to the beak, I had to drill another hole to allow the light bolts to clear it.

:(

I had a Terra Nova bar on my GSA, it is the "real thing" when it comes to bars! In the States it is the most common way of mounting lights.

You would never ever bend it or break it in the event of a tumble, the down side is that you can only mount one set of lights underneath it.

If anyone is interested, I do know where there is a brand new one for sale?

No, not mine either :P

That's another of the things I like about the NN version.... £40.00 all in is pretty appealing.

I wouldn't want that. Something's got to give in the event of a crash.
I'd prefer bending my light bar instead of the front frame / oil cooler / beak / ...
Much easier to fix and a lot cheaper.

Mine is 80 euros all-in. Or about 53 quid delivered.
You can mount 2 sets of lights and it looks cooler

Makes your bike go faster too :D

Cheers,

To be fair, I highsided my first GS at 50mph and it slammed onto the right hand side. But no damage to the MiGSel bar, nor the lights for that matter. :clap

Buggered everything else though............ :(
