nippy norman tank pads/protectors

just wondering if anybodys got the nippy norman tank protectors/pad kit on there gsa, think its a 3 piece kit, two side panels and the bit in front of your belly about 35 quid if I remember right, ifso anygood???, was thinking of getting a set, don't need the top bit so much coz ive got the Velcro part there for the tank bag, but could do with the side pieces

also anyone got any pics if you have the set??

I've got a set on my standard twin cam GS. I'm pretty sure that they came in a Wunderlich bag.

They're not the sexiest farkle, but do what they are supposed to.

yes thats the set, intresting video aswell, I kinda guessed they aint the sexiest farkle, but like I said I don't need the centre one just the tank sides, could do with em so me knees feel a bit more gripped to the tank if that makes sense, also figured they wouldn't scratch out the tank panel sides aswell, so cheers for that mate, wait to see now if some one can come up with a picky of them on a gsa

Some invisble film will do the same job and look a whole lot better.

Wifey bought me a set Christmas before last. I only use the middle one, so the 2 sides (the ones you want) are sitting in my garage doing nowt. Free to you if you want to collect?

Got a set on my GSA. Middle one works but find the two side ones don't. Might just be me but in sunlight I can see light scuffs on the black plastic below the silver panels where the insides of my knees must rub. Might just be me, but I have a 32" inside leg so pretty average.
I plan to take them off and carbon wrap the silver panels instead.

That super tough film goes on like any other wrap but the original colour shines through. Much nicer looking than pads IMO and covers the whole panel if you cut a big enough piece.
