I bought an expensive item to fit onto my BMW and I asked for a return label.
No problem.
Item returned in perfect condition.
Item returned to their depot.

BUT...

Several email- nothing- it's been a month.
No refund no communications at all.

They have the item and they still have hundreds and I mean hundreds of my british pounds.

Any one else had problem recently with Nippy Norman and refunds.
Anyone got a land line number that actually gets answered.

This is very worrying.

Don’t worry
They may be on holiday

NN are fine
Just had a look at their latest accounts filed in Aug 26, they look well capitalised and have plenty of cash in the bank

You will get a refund 👍

I hope you used a credit card for the transaction and have tracking data for the returned parcel.

Firstly, stop trying to phone or email them after a month has passed. Raise a formal complaint by recorded Royal Mail if they do not have an online process. Give them 7 days to resolve the matter.

Keep copies of the chronology and correspondence.

If they ignore this complaint and fail to resolve, and you used a credit card, contact the bank and raise a S75 complaint.

If paid by debit card then you might be protected by the bank but that is not a statutory process.

Always had good service from Nippy Normans to be honest.

but a quick search shows that yours isn't an isolated case sadly.
Unresponsive customer support is the no.1 complaint.

I stopped using them for this reason. Impossible to talk to anyone and shit service if there’s any kind of problem.

You will get your refund eventually, though

Thanks for replies everyone

Used Paypal. Paid outright. How come there's no legal protection here?

I will give them time and more emails.

Using credit card online from now on.

I hope this is not a painful lesson!

How did you use PayPal? If it involved any form of credit then you might have S75 cover as it applies to many types of finance. I think the likes of klarna have been added recently.

01626 830458 is the secret hidden number for them, it's not great reading on Trustpilot, although in the past when I had BMW's I had no issues.

Tried the number-Goes to answer message then cuts off.
Let's hope they are on holiday.

Couple of months ago, bought a Fuzeblock which I subsequently didn't need. Returned it to NN using their returns process and they refunded me no problems. So hopefully there isn't any issues with them.

PayPal are very good if you raise a complaint.

Their complaints page allows you to spell it all out from start to finish.
If they believe you have a strong case they will refund you directly and (presumably) they chase the vendor for their money.

Having said that, I believe there’s a time limit to make a complaint which you may well have passed..

I remember that If you use Paypal and pay via Debit Card you are protected

But If your payment is Paypal and Credit card

Apparently The protection is null as both have protection

Maybe some of their team log on here. If it’s a common problem…… I also see they are sponsors to advertise on here…. If the service is no good maybe the Janitor can help but then again if it’s an isolated case then probably best dealt with individually….

Could i get a carrier to take it back, we dont do batteries !!!!

Funny how you can deliver the feckers to me, but not back to the supplier

I kept it in the end

Not sure about NN but another specialist definitely monitors posts on the forum , after having the temerity to post on here about their apparent decline in service and extended delivery times I got an E Mail from them which I did not appreciate the tone of .
Delered my account ( of 25 years ) with them after that
