Nippy Norman Warning

Motorworks are far from the cheapest. Nor are Motobins.

But there is always someone at the end of a phone line to sensibly and fairly sort out any problems.

People will happily pay a few quid more on an order for that.

You can almost feel sorry for NN. They exist in a online shopping algorithm that is obsessed with prices and fake reviews. They're fighting Amazon, eBay etc

In my business, I'm not the cheapest (And no way the most expensive). But I like to think my customer service is why people chose to use me again.

I think NN should invest in their customer service and they wouldn't have to be 3p cheaper on spark plugs

I’ve actually spoken to I presume himself on the phone. Quite short with me. Borderline rude. It seems to be his business model. You either like him and deal with him or don’t. His way or the highway. When you see the amount of disaffected customers I’d like to imagine his business if he just was running it a bit better and actually looking after his customers in a timely fashion. JJH
I have met him in person at Princetown at a GS Club UK event, many years ago

He had a stall

He’s ok, in person and maybe just his personality

Just a husband and wife business

Just remember-plenty of people who don’t read UKGSER….have BMW bikes and buy from him …..so all the angst here might be wasted

Anyhow I hope my £25 order arrives in a timely fashion this week

Ordered late Friday night at 10pm and despatched Saturday morning

Pretty good, so far

One would imagine that the vast majority of orders go through without incident.

Otherwise they wouldn't still be business.

Bought a few things from NN over the years with no issues

I did buy the Wunderlich conversion kit to allow the use of the 1250 vario luggae on the 1300GS last year
The kit was fitted but didn't quite work with regards the release mechanism
E mailed NN, got a response for photos and a video

He got in touch with Wunderlich
Turns out, Wunderlich had updated the design and NN had the original design in stock

Took a couple of weeks for him to swap with Wunderlich as he gets bulk deliverys but not every week
I got sent a brand new fully updated kit and told to bin the original kit

He kept me updated and it cost me no extra
