Not doing themselves any favours.

I've a 2006 plate gs, I'll just measure the bar thickness

Why not just send it back ? Distant selling regs, if you receive something and its not suitable, you've got 7? days to send it back without any quibble.

I've found NN to be very helpful, and took back an unused item I couldn't use without quibble :thumb2

Yes but.... taking the unused item back without quibble (and, I would assume, at your cost of dispatch) is one thing - admitting that the advert was either inaccurate or misleading, accepting some responsibility for this, apologising (sarcastic HA!) and setting things to rights with a disgruntled customer is a complete other kettle of fish.

NN, despite his ability to shift boxes with some efficiency most of the time, is completely lacking in those things which are generally accepted to contribute towards 'customer service'. :augie

This seems to be the sensible thing to do.
Unless yoy decide to be an arshole.
:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah

yer the arshole that order the correct part as per add and the arsehole that wont pay to send back something that the other arsehole SAYS HE WONT TAKE BACK AS IS CORRECT:eek::eek:

I see. Not used Motorworks before :)

NN was particularly friendly in that one dealing with me, I think my third small order :clap

i ran this through Babelfish, but it still made no sense:nenau

Some of you guys may not have seen last weeks NN debacle, and even that wasn't the first time I've read of NN being somewhat lacking in the customer service area around here.

It seems NN is failing with his customer care recently. I e-mailed them early january with a problem on a NN supplied horn. To date not had a reply.
Wont be getting any more money from me.

I have only bought 1 item from NN, a tankbag which had a minor manufacturing zip issue.

When I spoke on the phone, they were very helpful and knowlegable and I decided to keep it in the end as production had ceased and I would not be able to source another.

:beerjug:NN did offer me a full refund if i wanted it btw.

I gave a product, a DIN to car size power socket converter, an indifferent review and Norman got in touch to ask whether there was a problem. I call that good customer service.
