Nitron NTR R1 Rear Shock

Well having had a mono-wheel GS8 for a few weeks the bike is now back together and once more looks like it should.
Planning on the first ride tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

Two-Up

Well while not being exactly the first ride, I took a trip down to Wiltshire over the weekend with the dearly beloved on the pillion. Adjusting the pre-load for pillion & luggage was easier than the standard shock as the adjuster is lots easier to use and turn.
The ride on the back was described as 'firm but smooth' and the change to 10w fork oil is even more noticeable with the bike loaded.
A very pleasant weekend with the guys'n'girls from FCM and a blat back via the A303/M3/M25. Very smooth on the main roads and while the shock lets you know about the lumps & bumps on the minor roads its for information only as they are dealt with like the very best butler deals with gate crashers. (You hear about them but they've already been sent away.)
Heading up to the Adventure Bike Shop to help them out on Easter Saturday so will report back after the ride up the country roads.
