took her in for a service last week, luckily the dealer gave her a thorough check over to find the leaky gearbox seal fault. So took her in this morning, - they found the clutch had been contaminated with oil so having a new one of those, but they did not have a modified push rod so she is in over night or until the part arrives. So I am pleased, - 4 days of warranty left and I get some new parts, - and a nice R1200S loan bike, pity the roads were so wet today.

My tip of the day:

Make sure you get your GS serviced and checked before the warranty runs out. Lot cheaper on the service as well as some of the work has to be carried out as warranty!

mine is going in for seals, what is the modified pushrod issue?

I think it is a slight change to the clutch design and by the sound of it they went to put a new clutch basket on mine but found that they needed the new pushrod as the one in my bike was not compatible.

My advice is to tell them that you have experienced clutch slip and you might get a new one.
