No headlight power. Help

Got 1150 GSA 02 plate with HID kit,last week noticed no headlight changed bulb not that. Presumed it was ballast unit ordered one from motorbike adventures fitted it tonight still nothing. Unfortunately my meter is knackered so can't test what can it be. Switch
Also my spots usually work at the same time they have also gone off. But when I high beam/to flash someone the spots come on

Possibly your load shedding relay is knackered.

Swapped relays around no difference made

Are the ballasts powered from the existing lighting circuit or direct from the battery via a relay triggered from the existing lighting circuit?
If it's the former, I have read that the high draw on start up can after repeated use damage the switch so may be a worth trying that first.

Without a tester I would say that the best idea is to check the hid unit first. Run a fresh + and - from the battery and if it works, it's not the hid unit. Then completely rule out the feed relay before spending money. Use any 12v bulb to test how far the power goes!

Sorted. Turned out to be the switch on handlebar. Sprayed switch cleaner inside switch. All working again !!!!!
Anyone want to buy a unused HID kit ?
