Think if I lived in Arizona, I might remove my screen, too. Ditto handguards, makes a big difference.

Out of interest, why are you retiring it from trails?

Robin.

Like the look of the handlebar & clamp\riser mod, is it commerciallyavailable? if so where?

They're "home made", I machined a small run of risers last year to mount ProTaper bars....

It's a 17". I had Excel rims laced on my HP so I had the 2.5 x 17 rear from
it left over. I had it laced on a GS front hub using the same spokes, nipples
and grub screws so all it cost was the price of a "lace and true"...

I am doing a similar thing to my bike now. I have 17" wheels on order, 3.5" 120/70 front, 5.5" 180/55 rear. I have already put on an Akrapovic titanium end can & dark tinted screen. Also on order is special front fender, some cool looking wing mirrors & carbon rear hugger. Going to spray the top of tank & beak Mercedes Carbon Black.
It should be a fun bike.

You should go into production with adjustable bar assembly's. For the 1200 we can get adjustable; pegs, seats, shocks (height) but NOT truly adjustable handlebar assembly's. Sure there are risers and you can try to match with Renthal bars, but adjustment is so limited.
