I am getting no voltage on my meter, is this socket fuse protected and if so where is it please?
looked in the handbook I could see no mention.

2000 gs 1150

I use the extended cable to the beak to power a nav3

Socket and see

Just whip off the plastc cover and have a look, probably fing the socket is all corroded inside or the wiring has corroded off.

I had already whipped the cover off, and tested before the external socket at the join still no volteage, take it its a big job to chase the cable back?
Do I also assume that there is no fuse on this wire/cable?

3 I believe.

Look up THIS, print it off and stick it up yours :thumb2

Are you not reading the replies ? as fanum said - fuse 3 .

Yes I missed the '3' and have checked the fuse in 3 and yes it was blown, and have replaced and fully working

My apologies for not reading the replies correctly in the first place it was either a very blonde moment or dementia!
