A friend of mine
jet washed his 1150GS without the tank on. Now got a sparkly clean bike but now my bike, sorry, his bike, will not start. It started OK after the wash and left it to idle for a few minutes and then all of a sudden it stopped. There is power to the bike, fuel pump makes a noise and it turns over OK.
Bike has been left for 2 days to dry out and electrical connectors disconnected and electrical contact cleaner used. Electrics have also been sprayed over with WD40 but there is still no spark at the plugs. The plug leads have been disconnected, contact cleaned and sprayed over with WD40.
Is this pointing to a hall sensor issue?
Cheers.
