Early Xmas pressie. It was nearby and well priced. :green gri

175,000 kms. In the last 10,000 -Top end reco, cam chain & counter shaft seal, big end bearings, steering head bearings, drive shaft unis, White Power shock rebuilt, gearbox rebuilt, new pivot bearings, carbs rebuilt. Fitted with a full Staintune system. Have all receipts since new. Also comes with a reconditioned Bitubo shock- anyone had any experience with these? Needs a going over and some set up work. Rear suspension is way too hard and front is way too soft. Has a twin pot caliper on a cast iron disc but I'm sure there is a newish S/S semi floater in the stash somewhere as well as a new front guard.

very nice, looks well looked after, even has the useless kick start lever, nice find! :thumb

In my experience WP springs can be a long way out from their supposed ratings, like 40/50 lb out!.
Ohlins supply a 450 lb spring as default on their GS shock, and , at 90kg, that is just about perfect for me, at the stock 18 mm preload.

The springs in the HPN inserts match the 450 lb Ohlins perfectly, and they are available from one of the European spring suppliers - Google should get you to them.
They are short, so 90/100mm spacers are needed, 5 wt compression and 15 wt rebound suspension fluid.
