Noisy pads

Hi, RT question but may also apply to GS, since i fitted new front Ferodo plattinium pads to my 08 RT1200 i get a Sshhhh ing noise from the front brakes when braking, just wondered if anyone has had this problem on an RT or maybe GS !

PS it would not let me post this question in the Font of all wisdom section for some reason !

In the previous suzuki vstroms i have put ebc hh pads in they all did the noise you complain of , i think the different compound of the pads just makes more noise as the holes in the discs "wipe" through pad.
I wouldnt worry about it

No probs...

I used Ferodos on my 1100s (before my 12GS) and they 'whirred' a bit... As aid above its the drilled discs 'shaving them' a little.....

Quite re-assuring after a while.....

Textar standard pads, no whistles, pops, squeaks or rattles,
