Why Do People Use Horny Goat Weed?
Erectile Dysfunction and Sexual Dysfunction in Women
According to folklore, horny goat weed's reputed aphrodisiac qualities were discovered when a Chinese goat herder noticed increased sexual activity in his flock after they ingested the weed.

Animal studies indicate that horny goat weed may work by increasing nitric oxide levels, which relaxes smooth muscle and lets more blood flow to the penis or clitoris.

Horny goat weed also appears to act by inhibiting the PDE-5 enzyme, which is the same way that the popular drug Viagra works.

Some evidence suggests horny goat weed may modulate levels of the hormones cortisol, testosterone, and thyroid hormone, bringing low levels back to normal.

And the reply is....

Hello Paul

I am sorry Coleman's answer was not to your liking, but unfortunately we are unable to do anything else in this matter.
Please feel free to seek advice however I am sure Coleman know exactly what the rules and regulations are, and would not be going against them. They are a very good and reputable company. Who make very high quality products. Obviously occasionally there are manufacturing faults with some items, and they are quick to replace them, however they do not believe this to be the case with your Event Shelter.-

Please do let us know any progress you get with your enquiries. Or if you have any questions.

my thanks for the dove of peace between our borders and i have indeed told people how we must start to bring in to our world the southerners who are in no way c-nuts but affable crowd pleaser's with strange custom's they were surprised that there was civilisation beyond watford gap and the m1 does not go off the edge of the world and north is not a word to scared of:augie

The thing is we all know down here that the earth is flat and anywhere past watford gap we are likely to fall over the edge. We still don't belive there is life up there and as a star trek fan I like to belive.
Dave (beam me up seven of nine corr!!!!) GS

ive just sent this off, in case im being fobbed off....

HI Lyssa, can you supply me with the name, department and email address, and phone number of the person you spoke to at coleman customer services please?
Many thanks Paul

thats it, ive copped the hump now...

emailed this too.
HI Lyssa, ive read up on the sale of goods act 1984 and here is an extract from it.
3. I have bought an electrical appliance which is faulty. The shop says that it is the manufacturers responsibility, and that I should contact them. Is this correct?

No. Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) are enforceable against the seller of the goods, which is often the shop where you bought them. As you paid your money to the shop in return for the goods, a contract exists between you and the shop, and it is this contract into which the conditions of the Act are implied. As you have no contract with the manufacturer, the Act will not apply against them. You may have purchased an extended warranty with your item. This will have its own conditions which may offer you more than your legal rights, e.g. accidental damage cover. See question 4 if you are offered a guarantee (e.g. by a manufacturer or the retailer) on a voluntary basis.

so the warranty lies with you guys as the contract is between me and you.

ps now on the phone to the credit card company, sorry i cant let this rest, its not up to me, it belongs to a club...
all the best Paul

another cop out

Hello Mr xxxxx
I am sorry, but in this case it is not that you have been sold faulty goods and we are unwilling to help. It is that the goods have been misused, and have broken. In this case, we are under no obligation to refund or replace.
However if you still believe this to be a manufacturing fault you can return the product to us for testing.
There is an initial cost of £12 for the collection. This will be refunded if it is found to have a manufacturing fault. If no fault is found the Event shelter will be returned to you and this £12 will not be reimbursed.
If you want us to test the product and to collect it, please let us know when is convenient. You will need to package the item up dry, and so it will not get any further damage in transit. You will also need to fill in and enclose a returns form. See attachment.
Please be assured we are very fair with our testing, however this does not sound like a manufacturing fault. If it is not, it will be promptly returned to yourself.
However if it is a manufacturing fault we will either refund or replace your shelter.
Please let us know how you would like to proceed.

righty ho then off to the credit card company we go, hah.

ooh someones getting worried maybe....

Hi Paul

Can I ask why you want these details? It wasn't someone is customer services it was our Coleman Rep. He knows these products inside out and is the best person to ask questions in these circumstances.

Regards,
Lyssa

and another...

HI Lyssa,
I wanted to speak to customer services direct not the rep.
So if you can let me have the contact details please of Mssrs Colemans customer services department that would be lovely.
I must inform you all your responses are being forwarded to the club via the internet, as this shelter is owned by many people, and so far the view of Mssrs Coleman from the population of the club is a dim one.
many thanks Paul.

have some of that...
