I'm looking at a 2004 adv for sale at vines for 6500 pounds. It has 10k miles on the clock, no screen, but otherwise in excellent condition. It is a non ABS model. Comes with alu panniers, no top box.
I currently have a 2000reg 1150 with 35k miles. If I take the adv I'll have a younger bike with less miles and no corrosion for the same monthly instalment.

So my question is how much should the lack of ABS influence me?

Advise and comments on nonABS adv's appreciated.

Grab it, traded my 2003 Adv, Black, Non Abs, in for £6,500, last Nov, 14,000 miles, heated grips, nothin else, on the floor at , Belfast Motorrad for £7,600, for the past 5 months, no-one buying, break there arm for it, best deal I've heard of for a long time. :thumb. Don't worry about the Abs

It does sound a very good deal. Read the advert though, I don't think the luggage is included, even though the picture shows luggage!!

A new screen can be had for about 70 quid from nippy normans. I am sure they would include a screen though.

Might be worth a call to discuss. Sounds to cheap if you know what I mean!!

Don't worry 'bout lack of ABS.There's loads of us on the forum who prefer non ABS.Sound like a good buy.Grab it before the weather improves and bike prices go up. :D

Go for it, if your current bike has ABS as you suggest then you already have the best/most reliable form. If the new bike had ABS it would also have Servo

I had the same decision to make, wanted a newer bike but definately no want servo. Only one answear :thumb

The luggage is definitly included. I stopped at vines quickly yesterday pm to have a look. Taking a test ride on thursday.

Steal brake hoses on the adv should make the brakes sharper than my
w-reg 1150's
