Non-bike related Free Stuff ........

I brought this charger off ebay ages ago.

When I plugged it into my bike, it showed an error. After some research on here I found out that having autocom wired to the back of the acessory socket can throw up a fault, however, I then sold it onto a tosser and he had the same fault without an autocom. So this is a boxed optimate with instructions but it has a fault, so if anyone fancies having a go at fixing it they are welcome to collect it from Woodley (near Reading Berks).

One condition - if it works for you without any fixing then I would appreciate a charitable donation to the Calum's Road trip.

Cheers

David

Got this from a non-ferrous recycling yard years ago, I think it came from Williams F1. It looks like the base unit to the stand that slides under the nose of the car? Quality fabrication, all stainless, large roller wheels at one end & bearings as wheels at the other. Weighs about 15kg, anyone want it?

24" long x 12" wide:

Still available if anyone wants it?

Must admit I'm trying to think of things to do with it. Maybe my pal Matt could pick it up

I could see it used as a "dolly" to drag a car about in a workshop when the wheel(s) are off, and you just need to swing it about.

I have a 1963 Transit, but have spare "bodywork wheels" already, or else it would have worked in my garage.

Would be easy to weight it in for scrap but a lot of effort went in to making it, too good to scrap. I'll keep it until someone wants it.

Scrap value

No offence meant!! Does look very well made, will take it off you if you happy to post :augie

Got to be an easier way....

Do you know someone comming over by car, or even plane, to Oxford or somewhere close by ?

Get it picked up and carried over to the islands.

Taking a set of huuge German alloys to Bristol on Saturday (Extreme weather permitting) They came to me from Germany by road 2 weeks ago, and there will be another set comming here via another German who is picking up a Transit Diesel engine I bought for him 3 weeks ago, on the 20th Feb. He is fetching the engine and gearbox in a Fiesta :eek And then it will be up to us to get the alloys over to Bristol.
I am picking up a 1975 Honda PC 50 moped I bought from Paignton, Devon , that was fetched by the alloy wheel guy when he dropped a sofa for his sister in law.... confused yet ??
Just shows that one can move stuff about sensibly and very cheaply, if everyone helps a bit.

Hope that helped, BTW that piece of engineering could make its way to ME1 2XG if needed as well.
