Sky HD Box - Amstrad DRX980 [Faulty NO hard drive]
HARD DRIVE REMOVED !
Had it a year, switched it on the other day and orange light came on at the front, hard drive spins up but nothing happens. Tried all the usual stuff with hard reset etc. Replaced Hard drive with a spare....same result.
So - I've removed the hard drive and its on here for FREE but you'll have to collect or pay postage at cost.
In-between Bicester and Thame if you want to collect. Postage - I'll find out if anyone is interested.
I've checked the capacitors and non are bubbling so power is all fine. Might be useful for someone more able than myself at fixing these.
Cosmetically all fine. Just the box itself - NO power lead NO remote control NO cables.
Goes in the bin in a weeks time if no interest.
