200 Litre Drums

I have 4 x 200 Litre Drums in Blue.

They have had caustic soda in them but have been thoroughly cleaned. I was given them to make water butts from but our circumstances have changed and we will probably get rid of our Allotment this year.

Collection only from Stroud, Gloucestershire due to the size - I don't mind if these go in ones or twos.

Now there is a "Bugger" moment.

Bit far to fetch on the GS.
Wish it was a lot closer.

Got a new Steel one at the moment too, perfect for a BIG BBQ

Anybody travelling east from Glucester who could help out a couple of old Tossers?

Grizz and joe c - happy for a courier to collect if you want to arrange it between yourselves.

Tom

We (MrsDave and I) will be travelling from the midlands down to Dover middle-ish of Jan, but only got an estate car. We'd have to see what size things were and therefore number of them we could fit in the car etc. However the offer is there.

We'll be heading past Cirencester way tomorrow, about 30mins from Stroud. Of course assuming that the whole of the country isn't flooded and we float off down the river.

Top Class Telly - Loewe 32"

The Smith household has finally updated its audio-visual equipment, and so consequently the old telly is available.

It's a Loewe 32" widescreen flat screen TV. It's a CRT, not LCD/plasma flatpanel so it's a big beast.

But - unless you are watching HD content, or Blu-ray, this still has a much better picture than any LCD, which is why I've kept it so long. You'd need to be spending £1000 to get anywhere near the quality. Perfect working order, no pixels missing from the screen, working remote, 1 small mark on fascia which you can see in the pic (removals men...)

Downside - it's big, so needs to be picked up from me, or I could maybe drop it off locally
Upside - great telly with a great picture
it's free!

Joe, you're right there. I'd keep it if we had any room.

I've found the model details now - it's an Aconda. Got all sorts of stuff like picture in picture, and the sound is very good too, again much better than flat-panel tellies (I had to buy an extra sound bar with my new Plasma screen as the sound was crap)

I'll take the tele please!

Just the job for my old mum, she has a CRT thats years old and on its way out, and she don't like those new fangled things.....

Where are you? I live in Wiltshire but mum is in Slough. I work in Reading so am thinking could possibly collect it one weekday on the way to work, then do the visit and set up for her!
